This car has had only 2 owners from new, the first being the supplying Vauxhall Garage, who used it as a Demo car, and the second owner acquiring it in 1986 and owning it for over 23 years, the car still retains the original pressed metal number-plates from supplying dealer, and has the original bill of sale!

Only 46,000 genuine miles, with all the service history and all old MOT’s to verify. The car has been dry stored for a number of years, and is in completely original unmolested condition throughout.
The bodywork is excellent, it has all the original panels. All the correct decals are still in place and in perfect order. The bodywork is free from any trolley dents or marks, and the metallic silver paintwork is perfect with no signs of ageing or the usual peeling lacquer that you would usually expect. the only blemish on the car is on the passenger front wing, but this is so minor, it is barely noticeable.
The boot area of the car is totally solid and spotless with all the tools still present and correct.

It has the original Opel alloy wheels, including the spare which is perfect, no scuffing or kerbing in any way.

The interior is as you would hope, and best described as like new in every aspect. The carpets, seats are just as the day it left the factory, the dashboard, centre console etc is simply amazing, no cracks/marks/ageing anywhere. The back seat in the car has never been sat in. The parcel shelf is completely spotless, with not ‘sun-bleaching’ or sagging, as is the boot mat.

Mechanically the car drives as well as the day it was new, as anyone who knows these car’s can testify, the 1.8s engine was always a very nicely torque’d engine. As this was the later example, it has the 5-speed gearbox, and is just lovely to drive. The car is completely free from any oil leaks, and as it has been preserved using clear Waxoyl, it is just as nice and original underneath as it is on top, and any inspection is welcome.

Overall, this is as fine an example as you could possibly wish to come across, the car is stunning, and is totally backed up by the paper-work that the previous owner, (who was extremely meticulous and fussy), right down to calculations of adjusting the petrol mixture during the change from 4-star to Unleaded. You will not find a better example, and this car is open to any inspection.
